NT7 Beta 13 hang on Market Analyzer

I run NT7 Beta 10,11,12 with my self-built indicator function in Market Analyzer and load almost six hundreds instruments with no any problem. But after installing Beta 13, it freezes my CPU and stop at Loading XXX mm/dd/yy a few instruments almost everytime. Sometime it freezes CPU at the beginning when adding a group of instrument. I think the problem might be cause at the loading real time data connection at after market provider data connection feed issue, or group instruments loading cache memory arrange issue. It wont skip to the next instrument. Just read the same row at the instrument array. Please fix it ASAP. Thanks.

Can you please test a Market Analyzer window without your custom indicator but just the basic columns. Restart NinjaTrader and open a Market Analyzer window for the basic columns. Add the 600 instruments you use. Subsequently connect to your data feed.

Do you all instruments load with data? If so, please add the indicator to your Market Analyzer and check if it will be calculated for each instrument.

Could it be the loading of data always gets stuck at a certain instrument? If so, please select the instrument in the Control Center and check if you receive data. If not, please exclude the instrument form the Market Analyzer and check if the issue persists.

I have tested which it works when load basic columns and self-built indicator at unchecked "Tools-Options-Data-Get data from server (if available)" situation. But if I checked the "Get data from server (if available)" box. It will freeze at the fist instrument "Loading XXX mm/dd\/yy - mm/dd/yy" at right bottom of status bar when real time data connected. Please check data feed selection issue. I have used two computers tested. Its both got same problem on Beta 13.

I run a number of different tests.

1. Unchecked (Get Data from server). It is OK to run completely all instruments. But except I removed some instruments which previously cause stopping running in the middle, it might be crushed something by END PROGRAM action due to freeze up.

2. Checked (Get Data from server). It stop at LOADING second instrument. But the first instrument doesn't display any value which should be returned. I removed the first three instruments. Running again, it still stop at LOADING the new second instrument. Is it any file format change and cannot skip to read second instrument at Beta 13? It cannot retreive previous already saved data in the computer.

I use TD-Ameritrade connection. I never had installed IQfeed. I don't know why IQfeed relate to TD-Ameritrade. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks for that info. We are in touch with TDA support to get this issue resolved.

We are not exactly sure what caused the issue but TDA provided us a new version of their API, which appeared to fix the issue according our internal tests. Would you be interested in trying a custom build? If so, then please:
- uninstall NT7 via control panel
- install custom build from here: https://www.ninjatrader-support2.com...er.Install.msi

Please let us know if the custom build would make any difference for you.

Thanks for your custom built NT7 for TDA API. I have used it and have tested this morning during market real-time session. It works good. But it has frozen on a few symbols when Loading xxx... (04/05/2010)..(04/05/2010). I need to close NT7 and restart it. I removed these symbols. Then ran again, It could pass through all instruments. I used two computers ran different conditions. For example, Check GET DATA FROM SERVER IF AVAILABLE. and Uncheck GET DATA FROM SERVER IF AVAILABLE. I ran various minutes period for my indicator in Market Analyzer. And includes Daily and Weekly period. Almost no problem. But only one condition I don't know why it was freeze on some symbol. For example, When run daily period. It always froze at symbol ABC-AmerisourceBergen Corporation, Then I removed this "ABC" ran again. It went through all instrument. But symbol "ABC" at minutes period. it could be passed through of loading data.

I will do more test. If there is any information I can report, I will let you know. Thanks all of your team's help!

That's what I'm interested in. Could you please:
- recreate the scenario
- mail me the complete zipped content of the directories <my documents>/NinjaTrader7/log and <my documents>/NinjaTrader7/trace to dierk AT ninjatrader DOT com
- please also provide a timestamp on when the request hung and on which instrument it hung

Thanks for your reply. I tested to use "UNCHECK Get data from server if available" and indicator is 5 minutes period. It locked and displayed at "LOADING CRBC (04/06/2010)..(04/06/2010)". During freezing, I copied the trace and log files to other folder. Please see attached files. I tested two times, everytime it stopped at same symbol- CRBC. But I ran 15 minutes period indicator, it has passed through this CRBC. No freeze at this symbol. If you can add time control to wait a few seconds for loading, if pass the time counter, then show message and bypass this symbol. It would be better. Please let me know if you can find something regarding this issue. Thanks!
