Tick data deleted

When editing the database this evening I discovered that several years of tick data had been deleted today by NT 7 for the instruments EURGBP, EURUSD, GBPUSD whereas tickdata for USDCAD, USDCHF and USDJPY had been conserved.

I am very sure of this, as I made a complete backup of my database about 24 hours ago (so I still have the data). The three subfolders $EURGBP, $EURUSD, $GBPUSD of Own Documents\NinjaTrader 7\ db\tick\ were empty. I am also sure that this has happened at least once before.

So thinking what could have deleted the data:

(1) Made a Database Reset
(2) Deleting NinjaTrader.sdf in Own Documents\ NinjaTrader 7\ db\
(3) Backfilling data via IB (Backfill was not tickdata though)
(4) Recording data and/or saving chart data as historical

(4) Was definitely off, checked the data for my recorded sessions. I repeated (1) and (2), and this did not affect the data at all.

So it must be somehow linked to backfilling / data gaps.

Again I repeat that I am 100% sure that I did not delete the data, I am also 100% sure that it was there yesterday, because I made a backup that I still have, and finally this is not the first time that this happened, and it even was the same three instruments before!

Any ideas why and how NT deletes data?

Unfortunately, I am not sure what caused the historical data to be deleted.

I loaded a year's worth of historical GBPUSD tick data while connected to Gain. Subsequently restarted NinjaTrader and connected to IB. Created a new GBPUSD 150 tick chart for 100 days back. Data loaded as expected and when I check the Historical Data Manager or the db-->tick folder, data is still there.

Note that historical tick data is not supported by IB, so it should not load any historical data from IB at all.

I suggest to restore the backup. Please let me know if the issue recurs.
