    Cl 05-10

    Hi
    I try this in 6.5 and the chart was fine ( not Jumping )
    When I try it in NT 7, the chart jump from price CL 04-10 to price CL 05-10 in one tick. ( I attach a little Video )

    Also the chart in the beginning of the contract act like short in history data or don't keep the current data.

    I hope that I explained that well.

    Thank you for your post.

    1.) Which data provider are you using with NinjaTrader?

    2.) Please let me know what your to/from date settings are for this chart.

      Data from today to 10 days back

      Even in the busy trading Hour if you Reload data or change Symbol and go back to CL 05-10 you find a gap on the last bar

        Hi Mike,

        Thank you for your reply.


        Please take the following steps:

        1.) Shut down NinjaTrader.

        2.) Sync your PC's clock:
        You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.


        3.) Launch NinjaTrader and re-connect to Zen-Fire, then reload historical data for both of your charts. (Right click in the chart > Reload Historical Data)


        After taking these steps, please let me know if the issue persists.

          I had requested support on this issue and had received the following response from Bertrand which works fine.

          "When you want to load an individual contract that is not the front month currently, you would need set the merge policy to 'DoNotMerge' for the CL master instrument.

          Then reload the historical data for the expiries."

            Bug confirmed

            The problem is related to MergeBackAdjusted, which still does not work expected on rollover date. I have already documented this before. See chart on post #17 of the following thread.

              I believe this is an issue we looked into and *should* be working better in the next version. The nature of this area is very complex though and if you guys should experience difficulties even with the next version please inform us again. Thank you for your efforts and time with this.
