connection question about Barcharts

I'm currently trading with 2 data providers, ZenFire and Trading Technoogies, neither of which give me reliable/enough daily and weekly data for commodities and futures that I trade. so i was thinking of adding Barcharts.com (eod package) to my connections and using it for the sole purpose of getting daily charts.

(1) Can I do this?
(2) If yes, is it as simple as just adding a Barcharts connection?
(3) If so, during the trading day as I query for a daily chart how would I know that it's requesting data from Barcharts for that daily data and not, let's say, ZenFire.
(4) And since the Barcharts eod package will provide daily charts can those daily charts update real time during the day by my intraday feeds (ZF or TT)?

I'm unclear about how this would work.

Hello Spartacus,

1. Yes, this is possible.

2. Correct, please see the following link for more information regarding multiple connections.

3. You will need to disable historical data in the Zen-Fire and TT connections. Go to Tools-->Account Connections, highlight the connection and click Change.

4. Yes, if you connect to Zen-Fire/TT first and BarChart thereafter, real-time data will be retrieved from Zen-Fire/TT.
