Data position on chart
For some reason the price in the chart window now is not centered as it was in 6.5. If price has traded below the past action i am looking at, the action i am looking at will be positioned at the top of the chart. It is kind of annoying. Anyway to change this?Tags: None

Ya, that is going to need to change for sure or you might as well get rid of the option of looking back at historical data through charts. I am trying to look at the action of the 5 sec chart a few days ago at an important level, and the only way i can it by adjusting the y-axis, which then makes the bars so small that i can not see anything.....

This still remains a HUGE problem. If this isn't resolved i'll be looking elsewhere for charting. In Ninjatrader 6.5 the data is always visible regardless of price progression beyond the range you are looking at.... I don't know why that has changed.... When i am looking at past data i want to be able to scroll through it without having to reload my chart 100 times to go back 3 days so that the price bars are big enough to see. As you can see in the attachment, if i were to adjust the y-axis, the bars would be WAY too small. This, at-least for me, is a huge problem.

The y-axis scaling has changed due to user demand. When you change the y-axis, it goes into "Fixed" mode which locks in the upper/lower extremes of the chart. Before you scroll back, you could click on the "F" icon in the top right hand corner to put it back in automatic scale mode. Please see the Help Guide for additional information on how the scaling in NT7 works.RayNinjaTrader Customer Service

You are welcome.
I should add, we learned that quite a number of people using 6.5 scaling to add a upper/lower whitespace buffer on their chart. This can be also achieved by leaving the scale in automatic mode and adding upper/lower margin. This can be done per panel in the panel properties. Right click in the y margin to bring up this window.RayNinjaTrader Customer Service
