NT7 beta 10: needs manual reload historical data after Login?

NT 7 beta 10 after the login reloads the historical data as usual but this is not effective: there are missing data from previous session vs the current price. If I continue with this standard backfill I would get a bad chart.

So I had to right-click on Reload All Historical data for most of the charts after each login.

    Is this normal?

    Thank you,
    Paul

    Hello Paul,

Once you are connected to your data feed, it should load all requested data in NinjaTrader windows you have opened.

We released beta version 11 yesterday. Can you please install the new beta version on top of your current version using the existing download link.

Subsequently check if the issue persists. If so, please let me know what exact data was not loaded when you connected. Please inform me to what data feed you connect as well.

      Hello Jason,

Installed NT 7 beta 11, the feed is Zenfire and the symbols are 6E and DX.

Also today is the second session there is a bad tick on FGBL 06-10 a couple of minutes after the open that's screwing the chart. Ditto on FESX 06-10 with a bad tick shown before the open.

The session is the european 8:00-22:00 CET.

      Hope this helps.

      Regards,
      Paul

        Hello Paul,

You can exclude the bad tick from displaying in the Historical Data Manager. Please go to Tools-->Historical Data Manager and select the Edit-tab.

Select the data that contains the bad tick and exclude it or modify it. Click Save and create a new chart for the instrument in question.

          Jason,
Thanks for your help; the bad ticks are fixed.

Now it remains the main issue: DX (and often the 6E) instruments not loading at the first login.

            Hello Paul,

I tested a DX and 6E chart on my end, however I could not reproduce the issue.

Can you please create a new workspace and open up a 6E and DX chart. Check if the issue persists upon using the new workspace.

In addition, how many charts and workspaces do you have opened in total when you connect to your data feed?

              One workspace with 17 charts.

The same workspace with 21 charts works and load perfectly at the login on 6.5.1000.15.

Also the issue typically occurs at the first login that is going to backfill the end of the previous session and the beginning of the current one.

Therefore setting a new workspace now is not exemplificative of the problem since the historical data has already been loaded.

However creating a new workspace with 1+1 chart shows no issues but also it's not an example of a typical user also giving the NT 7 improvements.

                Hello Paul,

Can you please send me your workspace. Send it to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com, reference this forum thread and put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header.

You can find your workspaces at (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->workspaces. If the file is larger than 5 MB, please zip it first.
