beta 11 Market Replay

Is it expected that if you move the "slider" forward or backwards that all strategies get cancelled and deleted?

If not, then is happening to me with Beta 11:

Load a Chart
Start Replay connection
Add Strategy
start replay back
Move slider forward in time
strategy is stopped and removed from strategy tab



A second strange issue is when I create a new chart with the replay data connection active, the end date of the chart if greyed out and not updateable. It is also locked at the current date of the replay and does not update??

my experience is if the strat is enabled, you can move slider backward or forward and NT disables then enables ..no problem

same if you use GoTo...no problem if strat enabled

it strat is disabled and you move the slider or use GoTo, strat is always removed

I would be happy with that. Right now if I move the slider back/forward while it is running/replaying with the strategy I am running, the strategy is stopped and them removed

Are you saying you have a different experience than ATI user? If that is the case please try uninstalling 100% and reinstalling as the expected behavior is as ATI user describes it. Before you do so you should check your Control Center logs for errors though. If your strategy ran into some errors it would likely remove it.

there is one obscure bug remaining in 11 which will corrupt workspaces and stick on loading data like 10 did

obscure because it took a lot of testing to produce.

I have two workspaces...one for NQ 03-10 and one for NQ 06-10...this so I can just change workspaces instead of all chart, dom, ma settings etc when I want to test old contract

today I tested extensively in 06 without any problems at all

then switched to 03 and also a lot of testing with no problems at all

when I switched back to the 06 workspace, while still in MR, it would not load one of the two charts...same as beta 10 problem...

I deleted that chart and could not create a new chart...

close NT ...opened NT...same problems..i.e. could not create a new chart and therefore restore the original workspace

closed NT....deleted all files in workspace folder

opened NT....created 06 workspace from scratch...runs perfectly in MR and switching back and forth between live zen

disconnected feeds...saved 06 workspace

changed all charts, dom, ma to 03 contract and saved as 03 workspace

connected to MR for jan 11....ran strat ....all charts and workspace fine

disconnected MR....closed 03 workspace

opened 03 workspace...charts populate

connected MR...charts repopulate with jan 15 still showing as MR start date

change MR start to 19 mar ...charts populate fine...strat runs fine

so...problem seems to be switching workspaces (to forward contract only) while connected to MR which results in corrupt workspace

as I said, somewhat obscure....this is the first instance so I will try for more detail next time

otherwise, 11 MR has been completely bulletproof no matter how hard I try to abuse it

Yes my experience is different. There is no errors in the log (have no checked trace file, but will now) and when I move the slider back it cancels/removes all open strategies.
