    Blank Chart

    Hello,
    When first launch NT7 Beta 10, chart is completely blank even the title bar doesn't have any info (see attach immage). The work around is to select a different instrument then data would get populated.

    I'm running NT7 beta 10 on a machine that didn't have any version of NT installed previously. The workspace and charts were created using this version

    First image showed a blank chart when first launched NT7B10. Second image showed same chart with data populated after changing to a different instrument. After data were displayed, switched back the instrument

    Hello hcgaloi,

    Can you please close the current chart and open up a new chart via File-->New-->Chart. Check if all data is loaded.

    Exit NinjaTrader and save the chart in your workspace. Start NinjaTrader and check if the issue persists.

    If so, how long did you wait for data to be loaded? Please wait a minute and check if the chart will display data.

    In addition, do you have many other charts opened as well? If so, please check if it will make a difference when you are using less charts in your workspace.

      Hi Jason,

      Per your suggestions, below are the results

      For this step, the new chart displayed candle bars, however, it didn't get price update from zenfire live feed. Chart was created while connecting to zenfire. Also, the End Date from Data Series had current day.

      Yes, blank chart issue persists. Switching intruments fixed the problem. Also, price data were updated connecting to zenfire

      When chart was blank, I waited for anywhere between 5-10 minutes

      This doesn't make any difference. It happened to workspace with just one chart

        Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this behavior on my end so far.

        Can you please check if the issue persists using a brand new workspace.

          Hi Jason,

          I did and the issue would suddenly surface after a few days (2-3 days). I even did an uninstall, deleted NT7 folders in Documents and Program Files directories then reinstall a fresh copy. Chart would work fine the first few times then suddendly it would display blank.

            Please send in your workspace containing this blank chart with a screenshot of your Historical Data Manager node expanded showing what data you have available around the time of the chart. Thank you.
