Forex and IB with NT7 Chart Trader

Hey guys,

I have a forex $USDCAD chart with chart trader running through IB. In IB I already have a small position and in IB it is displayed as 25,000. I know NT7 displays these contracts as 0.025M.

I also have my PNL showing and it shows a whopping -$62500.00 loss! Actually it is only $62.50 loss so far but because of how IB has the open position showing (25,000 as opposed to 0.025M) NT shows a huge loss instead of $62.5 (off by 2 decimal places).

Is there a setting I can change to have the positions show correctly in NT for the PNL on the chart trader - - so either the 25,000 from IB is converted to 0.025M in NT or 0.025M from NT is translated as 25,000??

Not a big deal if no work around.

Please open up your Tools>Options>Data and check your pip settings. You will want to be using HalfPip.

Thanks for the reply. I do have it set to halfPip already. I have attached a screen shot. the problem is the way NT reads my IB position I think

Hello deurich,

Can you please confirm you have IB TWS 900 installed at this time. If you have another version installed please install the correct version at the link I have provided below.

If the issue persists please reset your insruments by going to Tools-->Options-->Data tab-->Reset Instruments.

Next please remove USDCAD from your Default list and add it back in.

Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.
