    the pains of rolling-over

The current roll-over steps could be improved:

I just want to alert you to the fact so you might start thinking about ways to make the job faster and easier in a future version.

Just to start you off, imagine if when clicking on a contract in the list on the left that there was some way of automatically finding the instrument in the manager list. You could then remove and add the instrument quicker by just pressing the > and < buttons.

Or imagine if you had roll-forward and roll-back buttons for the selected instrument?

Adding the words "add" and "remove" next to the left and right arrow buttons wouldn't hurt the user interface either.

This might be a stretch, but imagine if you could see the current daily volume being traded for each contract month to know if the contract month is worth looking at? (Watching volume is the only real sanity check. I have to create a chart for each month one at a time to do this, which is a lot of steps.)

    Thanks

      Roll over manager needed

      I agree with Jamesaq,

There needs to be improvement in how roll overs are handled.

I could make more suggestions but the ones listed would be a good starting point.

What you can do is this:

        - Select the expiring contract "ES 03-10"
        - Press the ">" button once
        - Then press the "<" once

You should now have the ES 06-10 in your list.

          Ray and all,

That's great. It already works that first way! That's quicker.

I had been searching through the master list of instruments for the instrument to add all along per the middle step in the online documentation. That took a lot of time.

It's not entirely obvious to the user that that quicker sequence works without selecting anything in the master list, so keep working on making the interface obvious and simple please, and maybe change the instructions.

          Thanks.
