1. Different logo colors for 32/64 bit - I can't tell them apart on my Quick Start menu

2. We have auto logon - how about auto connect ie when IB is already up and running just go ahead and grab some live data?

On 1: in my quick launch bar I still see the name differentiation for regular and 64 bit version, wouldn't that work for you?

On 2: not sure I follow exactly here - charts loaded in your workspaces should be populated automatically then if connected.

I get the ToolTipText - but that takes a second or two. Simply make one logo say darker than the other or something.

2. If I have IB open and open NT it does not connect to the live data. I have the check box ticked saying auto logon. I assume it has to go through the whole routine and can't recognise that the TWS is actually already live??

Ok, thanks - got it on 1.

For 2 - works for me if I open / connect TWS before starting NT 7 with IB auto connect option enabled.

Do you receive any errors?

Ah I discovered you have two check buttons

Connect on Start Up
and
Auto Logon.
I had only checked the latter - hence the lack of connection.

All sorted.
