    When will the gaps issue be settled?

    Hi Josh,

    is there any progress to be expected?

    NT 7.0.0.14 today: Just opened a FOREX chart - on all FOREX instruments appeared gaps as the data between disconnection yesterday and session close was not displayed, see below.

    The usual story. Editing the database showed that the data was there. So it was just not displayed. Reloading charts would settle the issue.

      Will need session template used and data provider. Along with new steps you used. Thanks.

      First attached = Pacific time
      Second attached = CET

      Started from clean database, clean cache. No reloading of charts used, Forex session template.

      Further followed exact steps in post 38. Charts come up showing 4/22 perfectly.

      1. CET
      2. Connect GAIN. Open 30 minute chart of $EURUSD on Forex session template. (4/22 and 4/23 all loaded fine)
      3. Disconnect, close chart
      4. Open HDM, delete 4/23
      5. Connect GAIN
      6. Open new $EURUSD 30min chart --> 4/22 repopulated back into chart

        To reproduce, same as last time

        (1) Time zone is CET.
        (2) First delete data of yesterday's session (when I connected, I only had data for the first hour of the night session of April 22, which I had loaded the day before).
        (3) Then connect to Interactive Brokers.
        (4) Then load a FOREX chart.

        For all FOREX charts the gaps produce. Gap is from last backfill to session close prior to new connection. It is exactly the same procedure as last time, when you managed to reproduce the gaps. The only difference is that today it only occured with FOREX but not with futures.

        If you load the chart a second time, data will be correctly displayed.

          The bug you reported is fixed and the fix will ba available with the next update of NinjaTrader.

            let us see what I can do to produce some more holes in my chart.
