    SetDefault

SetDefault in Chart Properties seems to have no effect on the default chart.

i.e. if your default chart template has charttrader in it and you go to properties and remove charttrader and click SetDefault...a new chart still has charttrader per the template

so....what purpose does SetDefault have in chart properties relative to charttrader?...i.e. is this a bug in that charttrader settings are not included in the action of the SetDefault button in chart properties?

    Hello ATI user,

'Set Default' should save ChartTrader; whether or not disabled. When I test it on my end, it works as expected.

"and you go to properties and remove charttrader and click SetDefault"

Did you perhaps close ChartTrader while the chart properties menu was still opened?

Can you please restart NinjaTrader and check if the issue persists upon creating a new chart.

      1. open beta10...no charts
      2. open new default chart which does not have charttrader added
      3. right click in chart ....in Chart Properties, set charttrader True and click SetDefault, click OK
      4. close chart
      5. open new default chart....charttrader is not in default chart
      6. close chart
      7. close/open beta10
      8. open new default chart....no charttrader

conclusion: SetDefault in Chart Properties has no effect on setting for Charttrader

i.e. you must save change in Default chart template

Equidistant is saved in the Set Defaults. Please be sure you are pulling up a chart where you can actually see the difference like a Seconds or Tick chart.

              Should work the same.

              1. new ES 1min (or any type) chart
              2. Chart Properties
              3. Equidistant = false
              4. Set Default
              5. Close Chart
              6. New range chart (or any chart type) --> chart is non-equidistant

Suggest you delete any templates you have already to ensure proper behavior.

Chart Trader property works the same way here on my end.
