Feature: European Date format in Chart

As with everything the US has to do it the other way

But it would be nice if you could add european standart date format, like dd.mm. in the chart.
    Doesn't 05.03 look much better than 3/5..

    Hello symphys,

    Thank you for your post.

The 'date label format' properties in the Chart Properties menu will effect only the X axis values show by the Cross Hair cursor.

Other dates should be based off of your local PC's regional settings. So, assuming your PC shows time and date in this format, it should also be used on the chart.

My local date format is dd.mm.yyyy as set in windows regional settings from system control. Sadly this is not reflected in the chart as shown in the attachment.

The databox is showing the correct date format.

        Hello symphys,

        Thank you for your reply.

In testing on my end, I am seeing dd/mm/yyyy results when set to use German time.

Please try right clicking in your chart and selecting 'Reload Historical Data'.

If the issue persists, please provide me with another image.

I tried reloading historical data and even did try it on another PC with Windows 7 and the date X value is always m/d.

I noticed that the caption of a chart is showing the correct date format.

Don't know which screenshot I can post. It would be the same as above.

Maybe this problem is datafeed related?
          I'm using Zen-fire.

            Hello symphys,

            Thank you for your reply.

After reviewing with a colleague, it would seem that this is performing as expected. Changing the date label format properties will result in a date format change in the Cross Hair and Global Cross Hair's X axis markers only. (see attached)

These properties will not have any effect on the X axis itself. I will, of course, forward a suggestion to make this configurable on to my development team for further consideration.
