NT7 Beta10 doesn't display 10080min chart correctly

Hello,

I'm testing NT7 Beta 10, and it doesn't display 10080 minute chart correctly. My data provider is zenfire from AMP futures. Here are the step that I did:

1) create a new chart
2) go to Data Series
3) Change Value to 10080 (Type was set as Minute)
4) Change Days to load to 365

After clicking Ok button, chart is loading data then it displayed bars the same as 1440min (daily) chart.

Reason is because your session template settings are chopping off the bars. Please change your session template to reflect sessions that can accomodate 10080 minutes.

Thanks for your response. I have tried these session templates and none of them working: Default 24/5; Default 24/7; <Use Instrument Setting>; Equities ETH; Equities RTH.

I changed templates under Data Series then I different templates under Session Template. After that I clicked on OK button. I could see chart was reloading data each time, but then the bars were almost the same as 1440min. When I middle-button-click on the bar I saw the dates were incrementing day-by-day.

The instrument that I'm testing is emini Russell 2000 (TF 03/10).

You can't use any of the premade ones. They all end within one day. In a single day there is only 1440 minutes. You need to create a session template that has sessions that actually contain more than 1440 minutes.

Thanks for your help. Creating a weekly session template works. However, how do I create a monthly session template?

This procedure may be too complicated for an average user. May I recommend that NT7 provides default session templates for weekly and monthly charts?

You cannot create a monthly session template. You will need daily bars to achieve what you want.
