how many cores will N7 use?

Recently I heard that most trading software will not use more than 2 CPU cores.
How many cores will N7 use? I assume this is related to multithreding, hance I could ask how many threads will N7 support?
I'm putting together a new desktop which will run on i7 920 which has four cores and allows for up to 8 threads. Will I be able to use all that power with N7 or is this an overkill?

NinjaTrader 7 does support multiple cores. You will be able to use the power. I am not sure if it will take advantage of the 4 parked CPUs of the i7s because those are done through hyper threading as reintroduced by Intel. The physical cores should be used with no problem though. I can check for you later as I have a 920 at home.

During Optimization, after initialization, NT7 uses all 8 CPUs on my CoreI7. And it uses them almost 100%. Makes a big difference.
