T/S & DOM freezes on MultiBroker Disconnect

Today I was connected to Trading Tech. (TT) and ZenFire. Totally in Simulation mode, I noticed that whenever I disconnected from the Broker that I connected to first my DOM and T/S screens freeze, until I reconnect back to that first Broker. When disconnecting from the 2nd Broker that I connected to all was normal as screens, charts were good and updating in real time. I then disconnected from both Brokers simultaneously and reestablished connections with the same Brokers but in reverse order from the last time. I had the same results - whenever I disconnected only from the first broker, my T/S and DOM froze up until I reconnected back to my first connection, and, there was no issue when doing that same thing with my 2nd connection. Be aware that I was in sim mode and didn't try it in my live accounts.

I don't know if this is the expected behavior when using MultiBroker under Simulation or live.
I did not try this under NT6.5, I only assume it's the same.

Any other info that you need please let me know.

In your Account Connections did you set your second connection as a backup for the first? It should switch over to your secondary connection. Please first confirm that you get instrument updates as seen from the Control Center instrument and from a chart. I will get back to you on the DOM and T&S windows.

Hi Josh,

The anwser is no for both accounts. I'm assuming that you're referring to the "Backup datafeed connection" field in "Account Connection Setup". Should I set it up so it's that way? As far as Control Center updates I didn't take notice.

Right. Please set that up as your primary would take the secondary as a backup. Connection ordering is important. Be sure to connect to the primary before the secondary.

For the DOM and T&S, you will need to switch instruments and switch back for them to receive new updates on the new feed. Control Center and charts should auto update.
