    Bug in Historical Data Manager

    Hi,

It is found that when I open the Historical Data Manager:

The "Default" Instrument list is missing on the Download page tab (see the attached screen)

If I click on the a item on the list (e.g. NASDAQ100 or S&P500), the "Default" instrument list APPEAR again

Hope such bug will be fixed soon. thanks !

    Hi,

I am unable to reproduce. Can you please provide me with instructions on how you achieved it to be "missing" in the first place?

      Hi Josh,

      thanks for your reply.
I just open the historical data manager, and then choose "download" tab. It shows the screen as mentioned (ie. the "Default" instrument list is missing)

Curious: are there any unexpected messages in the log tab? Thanks

          No.
No exceptional message log in the log tab.
Also, I check the trace and there're No exceptional message log in the trace.

Thanks. Strange ... hmm, then we really needed a reproducible scenario.

              Hi,

Do you need further information from me ? (e.g. specific folder's content ?)

I can zip the corresponding file(s) or folder(s) and send to you

But seems the forum upload has size limitation. Please kindly provide an email with more storage if case require me to send you large file(s)

                Hi njuser,

Can you please zip up the entire Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db folder and send us that zip? Please try uploading it somewhere like yousendit.com or any other free file sharing service and when you provide us the link we can download it from there. Thank you.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce: Default is available on the Download tab using your DB

I have had this a couple of times as well, but I did not report, because it did not annoy me .....

                        Complimentary observation:

Usually there would be no vertical scroll bar displayed, because it is unnecessary. The screenshot below shows that the scroll bar is there, same thing I also noticed, when it happened here.

When moving the scroll bar via mouse, the default instrument list will appear.
