Volume indicator draws erratically

Using NT 7.0.0.10
The volume indicator draws good most of the time but about 5% of time not good. This started with NT 7.0.0.10. Most of the time the screen corrects itself on first scroll of chart, but sometime it never corrects.
I have MS Vista(64) and using NT(32 bit).
