    Chart trade markers slip position.

Using NT 7.0.0.10 MBTrading live, Navigator 11.3.0.4

Chart trade markers not on correct bar. When the trade was placed, it was on the correct bar, but it slips position over time.

See attached picture. You can see by the execution price that the trade could only have occured at 9:47. Also, by memory, I know the trade occured on the highest bar.

It seems that the bar objects are slipping somehow.

Your screenshot shows the trade going in at 9:43:13 which would be the 9:44 bar which is correct placement as seen on the chart.

      Forget the times.
The price paid was 17.69. It occured on the high bar.
It was a manual trade. I distinctly remember the marker placed on the high bar at the time of the trade.

        Camdo,

You can't just forget the times. That is how it decides where to paint. It matches the bar timestamp with the execution timestamp. If your bar timestamps change, i.e. you changed your PC clock sync, changed data providers, reloaded data, or some other potential factor, it could result in what you are seeing there.

          Ahha!
The connection with MBTrading was lost at 12:13. To reestablish, I closed NT and restarted, as it seemed hanged tying to reestablish itself.

Would NT reload data for the entire day?
Or would it reload from the time when connection was lost?
My data option is checked to "save chart data as historical". Is the data saved in real time or at session close?

As I understand it, the PC clock adds the time stamp to real time data, but the data provider includes the time stamp on historical data. The slip in markers would be explained if "historical" data was reloaded from session start after connection was lost. Is this in fact what NT does?

When you reconnect it will try to load the minimum amount of data from provider. If you do a right click>Reload that loads the whole chart again.

            Data is saved in realtime.

Real-time is timestamped by your PC clock and historical by the provider. Please ensure your PC clock is in sync to avoid these types of errors.
