    IB Dom Data

    Greetings,

    NT7b10.

When I connect to IB data feed the DOM displays the data but the inside bid/ask are highlighted and that is not the price on the ladder.

The chart shows the highlighted prices but the ladder is 'lagging' many bars behind.

When I connect to a zenfire feed this is not a problem

Also, I noticed it is taking a lot longer to get Zenfire connected with this upgrad.
    FYI,

    Thanks

    DavidHP,

Can you please clarify what you mean? It looks pretty accurate to me.

Here is the image from today.

Notice the price on the chart and the price on the DOM.

      They are the same.
However, the price ladder on the DOM is off by one or two pips/ticks.

i.e. the yellow price bar is above the ask price on the right of the DOM.

Normally this would be above or right on the yellow bar if the current price was at the ASK.
This condition swaps back and forth from right side to left side where the prices do not match the yellow last price bar.

At times it is off by 4 or more ticks.

I have not seen this happen when I'm connected to a Zenfire data feed just with IB.

      Thanks

Is this on any instrument that you have seen this? How often has this happened? Is this an IB demo account or a real funded account?

I am running IB live account with a 6E DOM, will let it run this AM hoping to reproduce what you see in the image you posted.

I just reviewed your image closer and it looks like you are running a simulated/demo IB account. These accounts always are inconsistent in how data is transmitted relative to an IB live account so the experience you see may be expected based on what they send out. Nevertheless, I will continue to run live to see if the problem exists there.

              Thanks for checking.

I have both IB paper and Live accounts.

Both were displaying the errors in NT7 but if I close it and open NT6.5 on the same machine, I was not getting the same result. I thought maybe it was something you needed to check.

The same condition does not happen with a Zenfire Data feed.

When I reconnected the data feed after 12 noon central time the condition was normal on both NT7 and NT6.5.

Perhaps it was a temporary problem with IB?

              Thanks for checking.

Let me know if you continue to see it. If you do, please open a Level II window, and take an image of the problem DOM next to the Level II window and paste it here. Thx.
