candle color question

Is there a way we can have red candle outlines for up candles and green candle outlines for down candles?
I have a black background and have seen this on other people's charts and would like to do the same.
The best I can get at the moment is black interior and a single color for up / down.

This would have to be done through custom programming. You can go BarColor and CandleOutlineColor.

Josh- at the moment I have set up a strategy that simply sets it up the way I like. Is that what you mean by custom programming?
I dont suppose there would be a link to how to do this somewhere?

Yes you would either set it up through a strategy or an indicator. Unfortunately there is no link demonstrating this per se, but you can see the help guide links here for BarColor and CandleOutlineColor.

You may try this and modify it for your needs .... hollow candles indeed look sexy on a dark background....
