Error on Plotting indicator "VOL" Beta10

This appears reproducable:

1. Open a chart
2. Add indicator VOL

Somtimes you get the error here, if not

3. Try to overlay VOL on the primary barseries in Panel 1 (scale justification Overlay)

The error is:

Error on plotting indicator "VOL". Please check the 'OnBarUpfate' or the 'Plot' method: Overflow error.

UPDATE: Did a fresh install of Beta 10 (and did not restore from backup) and this issue has gone away.

I spoke too soon. The error continues. I created a chart template from scratch that volume in panel 1 with the bar series, with scale justification set to overlay, and the same error occurs.

Let me know if you can't reproduce it and I'll email you the XML template.

Which instrument and timeframe are you testing on? Could unfortunately not reproduce here on my end, thanks

Here you go: Chart Template "Dark" (attached in zip) works on ES 5m, but not 6E 5 min, works on ZN daily, but not EEM daily.

I think it's the same error.

- Eg: SampleMACrossOver.
- Add row in Initialize() method: Add(VOL(Close));
- Run backtest.
- Click chart TAB.
--> error in the log: Error on plotting indicator 'VOL'. Please check the 'OnBarUpdate' or the 'Plot' method: Overflow error.
and the indicator does not appear on the charts.

(it can not be reproduced always exactly)

volume indicator scale different on two timeframes

i use range 3 and 5 on two seperate charts. on the 3 range chart the volume indicator scales at 20000. on the 5 range it scales at 100000. it worked fine yesterday.
