Workspace Issue
Every time I open three or more workspaces at least one of the workspaces becomes corrupted. All of the charts in the corrupt workspace change to the same symbol - always a symbol contained in one of the previously opened workspaces. This happens consistently, and has been present in all beta versions since beta 1. There are no error messages in the log when this happens.

Having a problem similar to the one below
Had a problem with workspaces hanging last week. Learned if it hangs just rebuild the workspace chart by chart. Now, if I try to used more than one the original gets corrupted. I have sent the log & trace files to support

I am running 12 charts total, with 24 seperate Gomi and Zondor data recorders. Feel like I am really pushing this thing.
You a member on Big Mikes's Trading Forum? I could have you set up your workspace like mine, except for some of the stuff we have not released. Have you tried addidng one chart at a time? I resorted to adding one indicator at a time, until I found a problem. Then used the output window it see if was something that could be fixed. Plus, on Big Mike's there are folks who can debug just about anything I've found, so far.

Hi,
I don't believe hanging workspaces would be the same issue as a workspace changing instruments unexpectedly. We are currently looking into an issue where charts may be hanging with "Loading data" text on it.

Can you please provide the 3 workspaces you use and the order you open the workspaces up in to reproduce the issue? Thank you.Josh P.NinjaTrader Customer Service

How do you have them linked?
Each instrument needs its own color on the L tab. Or they will jump.

I'm running 5 workspaces
Today I started with one work space and built up the other by hand and saved them.
Over the last few days there has been no problem until I reload with 2 workspaces. Going to run for a few days without stopping and see what happens. I'm on a UPS so this is electrically and storm possible. Let's see how 7b9 does.
Getting back to your question. I am amazed how great 7b9 is working. 5 Workspaces, 2 Gom Ladders in each, a GomRecorder, a Zondor recorder, all my real time indicators are persistent. You'll notice a gap when I was not running the recorders @ about - 6:30 am West Coast time. Just make sure that the L is the same color for each workspace.
Doing Sim trades with Chart trader and an ATM Strategy I tried works, I can change limit and stop loss orders, add to positions, going to try a one cancel other order in a little while.
Did I mention this is great?

It just sits there - Loading Data, forever. But I can add a chart at a time, works fine. I am running 6 Workspaces now. I'm almost jumping up and down, never could do this in 6.5 without a problem. I can cycle like a mad man...
The changes in the db are what makes everything work so much better. Ok, No more gushing about 7.

I sent this to Bertrand
I sent this to Bertrand. He has a case number and the trace and log files as well as the workspaces. But not all the indicators... too special to share at this point. I told him to edit the xml file and put in other indicators & see if the problem can be reproduced.
