        Hi Dean,

        In your Tools>Options>Data do you have "Get data from server" checked? Are you able to open up a normal tick chart?

          sorry to tell you i uninstalled nt7 as it corrupted my data on 6.5 . i will redo when the latest beta version comes out this week .

            Dean,

            NinjaTrader 7 has no way of impacting anything in NinjaTrader 6.5. Can you please clarify what you felt happened? Thanks.

              i reloaded all data nt 7 , it would not load onto existing charts . i deleted all charts and started again , some markets loaded some did not , i then went through and reloaded each market individually .
              i then closed nt 7. and opened nt6.5 with the same data issues occurring on the same problem markets . nt6.5 then froze ( whilst in a live trade ).
              At that point frustration set in , so i uninstalled both versions .
              i have 6.5 running only on the machine with no problems .

                Dean,

                It sounds like you may have been having issues with using the data provider itself independent of NinjaTrader versions because NT7 can be considered as a 100% completely different application than NT6.5. They do not influence one another in this means. Perhaps you could send a note into support [at] ninjatrader [dot] com with your NT6.5 log and trace files and a timestamp of when our techs can look at. Any information about the instruments/markets you were using would help too. Thanks.
