WorkSpace "Save as" option

Hi,

Just a suggestion. When one decides to save a workspace as the name of an already existing workspace that is closed, I notice that at just a click of the mouse all of the existing objects in the save to workspace will be overwritten without any warning. I'm suggesting the possibility of building in a confirmation box asking the user to confirm Yes/No before the overwrite an existing workspace.

If I try to save a workspace to a name already used by another saved workspace, I get the following message :

"Workspace 'XXXX' already exists. Do you wish to proceed?"

Do you not get this message? If not, can you provide me the exact steps you are using for saving a workspace.

Thanks for taking my issue.

Yes, you are correct. When saving a workspace as an existing name and hitting "OK you will get the prompt as you stated above. I meant "Double-click" not to imply Single-click, my mistake. I was saving a workspace to another existing workspace name from within the "Save Workspace As" box and unintentionally double-clicked on the wrong targeted workspace at which time was not prompted for a confirmation response and immediately over wrote that workspsace. This is a carry over from 6.5 by the way. The reason I created this thread was that I had an adverse result when this happened. Thankfully, it happpened to be a lingering workspace and that was not a workspace full of objects that I actively use. I thought it to be noteworthy since double-clicking in this instance one would expect a confirmation box.
