Output window

Is there a setting to change the output window? - it keeps defaulting to the top of the window rather than the last output which obviously is at the bottom.
Its very annoying to have to keep scrolling down!

Edit - I don't mean the top of the window - I mean that it doesn't auto scroll down with new output. It just stays 'stuck' where it is.

Incorrect.
- as long as you don't click into the window it will keep scrolling
- as you click into it it will scroll the click location to the top of the window
- if you wanted it to auto scroll again, you needed to click at the very end of the output
