That is correct. You need to Enable your strategies for them to run. You can enable them either from the Strategies tab or directly in the Strategy selection dialogue.

For your output window, please right click on the taskbar listing of it and select Move. Then use your keyboard arrows to try to bring it into screen.

This is new, is it not? I don't remember this being necessary in 6.5.

Correct. It is new as part of the strategy persistence features we introduced.
