CL Rollover

I have MergeBackAdjusted.
Imported all 2009 12 individual months CL 12-09 to CL 01-09
including CL 01-10 and CL 02-10.
Erased (blanked all rollover dates/offsets) in Misc.
Connecting to E-signal. Putting a chart for CL 02-10.
Once you format for more days the application crashes.
How do you force the software to the rollover dates/offsets.
You should set Get Data from the NT server in Options?
or, does it get them from e-signal?

trend, I'm not sure I follow - why did you blank out all set rollover dates if you intend using the MergeBackAdjusted mode?

To use the eSignal continuous contracts you could directly use the ##-## expiry.

To reset the rollovers to their defaults, please disconnect and go to Tools > Options > Data > Reset your instruments...then restart NT7 fresh, connect to eSignal and recreate the chart.

Also Bertrand,
to clarify on the ##-## contracts that are in an Instrument List
updating real time. How does NT reacts when e-Signal rolls over and
automatically adjusts all the previous prices of the contract by an offset?

Do immediately all prices in the Historical Manager adjust, or you would have to Reload the whole contract, and also if you have a strategy
applied on such symbol, you would have to reapply?

trend, the strategy would be persisted in NT7 while for the historical data adjustment on eSignal's servers you would have to reload to see effects in data populated in the HDM.

After a Reload and while the Strategy is Enabled in the Startegies Tab
would you have to Disable the Strategy and then Enable again, in order
to account for the Reloaded Data ?
