Lock & Snap to Bar price?

I have noticed when I draw lines that in the properties dialogue when I go to lock the line, upon either applying or accepting the change the line will jump slightly downward from where it was placed.

Anybody else report this??


Also, my lines do not seem to snap to anything regardless of the mode I select in the snap mode (Bar, price, bar price)?? I there a trick to implementing it?

Thanks for reporting. I can sometimes reproduce the first issue you report. Regarding the snap, it works as expected although the "Price" mode does not. I will check this out. What kind of chart are you working with ?

I am using a normal bar chart - CL-03-10 15minute. I have my lines drawn and in the properties box I have selected apply to all charts. I have noticed that on crude oil the line drops consistently about 10 cents from where initially placed when the lock is activated. I does not seem to matter if the lock is on or off or if the line is applied to the specific chart or to the global charts.

Every time I press apply, the line drops 10 cents, if I repeated keep pressing apply it just keeps going lower and lower (also the case with Fib lines).

My bar snap is definitely not working. I have the mode set to bar and I can draw a line or ray basically anywhere on the chart - -does not snap at all (to bars or wick tail or anywhere for that matter) - unless I am doing something completely wrong compared to how the snap worked in NT6?

Just to follow-up.

It appears the lines only move downward when one tries to apply it to all-charts in the properties box. If one is just applying it to the chart being viewed the lines do not jump. Also, lock/un-lock makes no difference - only if one selects all charts vs current chart.

On the snapping issues, to "Bar" snaps to the center point of any visible bar on the X axis, but be free to drop on any point along the y axis.
