    Charts offset from same data

    Hello,

If you look at the following two charts, the 13/07/2009 data is offset by around 60-70 points. I wonder if this is something to do with merge. What I find puzzling though, is that I'm not connected when I look at these charts, so it's only the internal price db.

The incorrect one (the first one) is when I display a chart of 60 min data for the last 250 days. If I take the same chart, and change the parameters to load 3 days and end on 14/07/2009, without changing anything else, I get the correct chart. I can switch back and it's wrong again.

I'd really like an opinion of what could cause this (without just being told to delete my db and refresh everything, if possible, please)

This is accurate behavior when you use MergeBackAdjusted as your policy. You can see the offset for the instrument in the Instrument Manager which brings down the value when merged with prior contracts. When you have a chart with only 3 dates, there is no prior contracts to merge back to on that chart so no merging is done and you are left with the "raw" values.

Right, thanks I see what you mean. I guess I wasn't quite expecting that, since both chart contracts are Z 03-10 and the period looked at is Z 09-09, but I can see why it happens.
