NT7 strategy & chart trader combination suggestion

This carries from NT6.5. If I am running a strategy and for X reason I need to shut it down ASAP, there is only one quick way I see. With loading strategy from the control center strategies tab, then if an order gets executed, I can see that in the chart which has chart trader enabled and hit the close button to get me out of the trade and disable the strategy.

The other way adding the strategy to the chart disables chart trader so you have to hit the strategy button on top and go through way too many clicks to disable strategy.

I can see two easy solutions to this, either allow chart trader on the chart while being able to load a strategy to the window or add a menuitem on the right mouse click under strategies to toggle the enable/disable and close position.

I am not sure if there is another way I have not seen yet.

If you are running the strategy on the chart and you want to stop the strategy ASAP, simply close the chart and it will close the strategy.

Regardless of where you started the strategy up from you can also always go to the Strategies tab of the Control Center and uncheck the Enabled button next to it. That will stop the strategy too.

Thanks for the click reply. I see you point on going to the control center or just closing a window (which will take up time since I have to reload the window again). IMHO, all I am saying if it can be considered by your development team to add enable/disable to strategies from within the chart window or to chart trader. I have a setup with three screens where in a fast market if I have to move my mouse to the screen where the control center is and then disable it there, takes far too long and could cause mistakes.

That sounds really good, I too have more than one strategy running on multiple windows and would like to see a quicker way to disable or cancel all strategies and go flat with a single click or at least to end all strategies on all charts with one click. It would be a catastrophic safety button.

Thanks for the feedback. Please note that the button could go both ways. Could also be a disastrous button if accidentally pressed.
