Bug in resetting simulator causes crash - new in beta 7

I did not notice this problem before in beta 6. I tried placing some simulation trades, then went to the Options tab to clear them. It ran for a while, and then the dialog box popup disappeared indicating that the trades had been cleared. Upon pressing OK to clean the Options dialog box however, I got one of those messages saying that NT had crashed and had to shut down. Here is what was found in the log:

This error is repeatable - try placing a few sim trades and then just clearing them and see what happens.

Actually this is not a bug in NT7 but likely an issue with your virus scanner (AVG?). Some virus scanners lock the files in NT's directory while scanning. The only way around is to exclude the NT <my documents> directory from scanning.

I did actually install AVG recently... good to know. Can I just exclude

      My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\

or do I have to specify a sub-directory?

I believe the issue is caused by the "Resident Shield" module of AVG. Not sure how to exclude a directory there, but excluding the one you mentioned (if possible) should to the trick.
