Beta NT 7 Range Bars & Alt Range Bars

Has the range bars been added to program V7. Downloaded latest version of beta on 1/27/2010. Can not seem to locate it on the time scales or in formatting?

It is under Period Type. Change away from minutes to Range.

I am trying to get range bars (8 ticks) for /ES. I have Ninja Trader 7, Beta Version, and connected to Interactivebrokers.

Hello Pawan,

Thank you for your note.

Since Interactive Brokers does not offer historical data in tick intervals, your tick based charts (tick, range, volume, seconds) will show data only from the times you are displaying the instrument and are corrected.

If you require historical tick data, you would need to utilize a secondary provider which does offer historical data in this interval.
