Install of new NT7B7 damaged my 64 bit install

I have installed this new NT7B7 on top of an existing install of NT7B6. When the install was done, I have double clicked on the NT7 64 bit icon and got an error message about some .dll not been found. Indeed, it is now gone after NT7B7 install.

The 'regular' 32 bit install runs fine.

Not exactly sure what happened. But please proceed as per post #4 here: http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ad.php?t=25182

      I had the same problem:

After installing B7 (without uninstalling B6 first), the bin64 folder was empty. I just deleted the whole folder Program Files\NinjaTrader 7 and reinstalled it (using the repair option) and everything worked fine.

BTW: After that I still had the same issue (as with B6) that the 64-bit shortcut was installed to C: and not on the desktop (32-bit shortcut was placed there without problems).

I did not have this problem on the first install of NT7B6 on Windows 7. I did not have any prior NT7 beta installed. NT7B6 was the first install ever done on NT7 Beta.

Unless the installer itself was changed on the server and I got a later version with the fix, this might be due to either running 64 bit on XP or or possibly having a prior version of NT7 Beta installed (although this last option is least likely).

I am currently going through the NT7B7 remove and reinstall. Will report back what happened. But in the meantime, you guys should check what is going on with the installer on 64 bit (whether it handles migration from previous versions or does an internal remove/install) it is clear that it is missing artifacts (dlls, etc) from the installer contents.

Reinstall worked fine. So this is a 'migration' issue.
