Anyone noticed: DEMA and ZLEMA draw exact same lines

I am just curious - is it a hoax (zero lag MA) in principle or the indicator was implemented incorrectly?

Interesting is it the same in 6.5 ?

Interesting. I am trying to convert indicators to NT7 and have found the same. The ZeroLagEMA indicator in NT6.5 plots exactly the same as the new DEMA in NT7 and the new system ZLEMA in NT7 does not plot the same as the NT6.5 ZeroLagEMA indicator. Should the NT7 indicator names be reversed so that both ZL EMA's plot the same and DEMA is the different one? That would appear to not be the answer because a search on the internet seems to confirm that the DEMA formula is correct, which would also indicate the NT6.5 version of ZeroLagEMA is actually DEMA. Looks like the best bet for me is to change the name of the NT6.5 ZeroLagEMA to DEMA and implement NT7's ZLEMA formula as the new NT6.5 ZeroLagEMA indicator. Confused yet?
