Drawing tools are to difficult to select once put on chart

Hello,

Once you have a few drawings on the chart it is nearly impossible to go back and try to select a drawing tool to modify one of the inputs or delete it. You should be able to click anywhere on a drawing tool to select it.

Thanks for the suggestion. Like in 6.5, you would need to select the anchor points to select the draw object at this point in time.

Yes but when you have multiple tools on the chart it is not possible to select the anchor points

tommyjames, you can move any end point you wish, which might be necessary in order to select other end points. If we did implement a select draw object by clicking anywhere on it, wouldn't you have the same problem but with too many objects to select as opposed to not being able to select any?

whats with the horizontal line

If I choose a horizontal line and point to the exact place on my chart where I want it the line appears a few centimetres off where I want it and to drag it to the right place is near impossible as it jumps here and there and it is pure luck if it gets in the right place.
1. left click drawing tool icon
2. left click horizontal line tool
3. Move cursor ( now with drawing tool icon) without clicking till the point of the cursor is exactly where I want the line.
4. left click to release horizontal line.
5. line appears either way down or way above the point I want.

Please try turning Snap Mode off from the drawing tools menu.

No not at all, most of the drawings originate from the same pivots sets so the way NT is now you have to try to find a drawing tool that has been drawn using the same pivots as 10 other drawings witch is impossible but if you could select any part of the tool this would not be an issue. NT is the only application that I know of that doesn't allow you to select any part of the drawing object.

Hit detection has been increased on fibs for B7. Please bear in mind that having too many areas as selectable may hinder your ability to effectively navigate the chart.
