    Multiinsturment/Multi-Series Chart question

    Hello,

    i dont really understand:

    1) Can i create multichart in code?
    2) can i get second chart (multichart) values in code?
    3) If use multiinstrument, it works the same as in NT6.5? (Code --> Add() --> the second can not be seen on the chart)
    4) If 3. point true, multichart can not be reached from BarsInProgress. Am i right?

    I'm confused a bit ...
    Thank you in advance, Tamas

    1) Not sure what you mean by multi-chart in code but you can create multi-series (any instrument/bar interval combination) via code

    2) Yes, you can add a "Seconds" chart and retrieve these values by code

    3) That is correct however, you can manually add additional series to a chart if you need it visualized.

    4) Not sure what you mean, can you elaborate?

Ray, thank you for your answer ... and sorry, i was tired a bit.

        Multi chart = Multi-Series Chart.

Shortly again: i'm interested in if i can hadle (Create, modify, etc.) Multi-Series Chart in C#? If yes, then how?

Multi-Series Chart is not handled with MultiInstrument (BarsInProgress, etc), am i right? (It confused me now.)

I have read help (i know it's not ready yet), but did not find anything about this.

        Thank you,
        Tamas

          tamas,

You will not be able to create a multi-series chart from NinjaScript. You can only create the chart through the UI options. NinjaScript can create multi-instrument/time frame scripts, but that would only be applied to a single series on a chart and the secondary series as defined by the script would not be visualized.
