Where is "Text and Marker" for Strategy Analyzer chart?

When I run Strategy Analyzer, the trades do not show up on the chart in Strategy Analyzer. Nowadays, "Show Text and Marker" is not in Chart Properties, so I can't check to see that it is enabled in the Strat Analyzer chart. Where did it move to?

It moved to the Format Data Series window.

But when I'm looking at the chart in Strategy Analyzer, and I right click, "Data Series" is de-saturated and can't be clicked on.

I have run a strategy, the summary shows that it took trades, but the Chart in Strategy Analyzer doesn't have any trades marked on it. I haved tried everything I can think of -- what am I doing wrong?

If you changed the instrument in the Strategy Analyzer you may have difficulty seeing the trades plotted. This should no longer be done in the Strategy Analyzer chart tab; you should not change the instrument of it. Immediately after a backtest, on the chart tab, you should be able to see the trades without touching any settings.

Okay, I figured out the problem.

Immediately after running a backtest, the trades DO appear on the Strategy Analyzer chart. However, if I want to check the trades against my indicators, I need to either load a default chart into the Strategy Analyzer chart or apply my indicators to the Strategy Analyzer chart. Doing either one of these things makes the marked trades taken via the backtest disappear from the SA chart.

Is there some way to visually see the backtest trades marked on a chart that includes indicators?

. . . . and also, when I save the backtest results, then reload that backtest (even in a new Strategy Analyzer window), the trades again do not appear marked on the chart.

You can try adding the indicators directly into the strategy code so you don't have to load defaults. Please see this tip: http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ead.php?t=3228

Development has informed me that the loading results will not show detailed trade information, just the summary tab.
