NT7 Login and Malicious IP 209.44.104.34 Questions!!!

First question, I have to be connected to the internet to boot NT7.

Is this normal?


Second question, when NT7 is running,

Computer protection software, Malwarebytes, is giving me an audio alarm and a pop-up every few seconds stating it has blocked a transmission to malicious IP 209.44.104.34 .

This only happens when NT7 is booted up and computer is connected to the internet.

Is NT7 triggering these alerts by communicating to this IP address???

I did a quick google search. Appears that 209.44.104.34 could be some news feed.

Guessing: Could be related to your RSS setup (Tools->Options->RSS). I suggest switching off one or more to isolate the culprit..

After you isolated: I suggest asking the vendor or your malware protection software why he feels those RSS feeds should be blocked: AFAIK there as legitimate economic RSS feeds.

When I unchecked both economic news feeds, the problem went away.
