NT7 will work with Windows 7?

I am considering purchasing a computer soon and would like to know if both Ninjatrader 6.5 and Ninjatrader 7 will support Windows 7.

I would also like to know if I should get the 64bit or 32bit version.

Yes, NinjaTrader will support Windows 7. 32-bit vs 64-bit you will have to decide on your own dependent on your personal requirements, NT7 will provide a native 64-bit application.

Been running 6.5 in Windows 7 x64 (both beta and retail) for almost a year with little problem. Version 7 appears to be very stable in the same OS.

I use Zen-Fire, and they seem pretty unconcerned about producing a 64 bit version. So, could I use a 64 bit version for backtesting, and a 32 bit version for connecting to Zen-Fire and have them share the data dir?

It uses the same data folder and yes, you can use 64-bit for strategy development and 32-bit when you need to connect live to your Zen-Fire account.
