Z Axis

Hi,

I have a script which uses DrawText to draw a Wingding character on price bars (Candlesticks).

Is there a way programatically or otherwise that I can have the text character draw on top of the candle?

I seem to recall that NT7 would offer control over the Z axis - is this correct?

There is control over z-axis but not programmatically, only manually.

To adjust the z-order:

1.Select the chart object by left mouse clicking on it
2.Hold down the "Shift" key on your keyboard and roll the mouse scroll wheel to change the z-order of the object. The current position out of the total number of levels in the z-scale will be displayed.

Is there any way to access the z-order without the scroll button?

Some of us do not have scroll buttons on our laptops.

Unfortunately not. However, on your laptop, do you have one of those touch pads? Usually on the right side of the pad, this acts as a scroll wheel.

I guess I will have to enable that, I was hoping to have another way to do this.

However, I do want to say, I'm very impressed with NT7.
