I've received the data (in a not so direct fashion) and will be testing this out soon.

JD I was able to reproduce this error without even opening up a new chart. As soon as I connected to Zen-Fire, the exception occured. I will forward my findings to development.

Thanks for verifying this issue Austin. I also could reproduce error without opening a new chart if I had left the existing NG ##-## chart open.

also got same error via Strategy Analyzer with NG

FYI, I also replicated this same exception in Strategy Analyzer by following 14 steps here (http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...09&postcount=4) and then appending these couple of steps:
            1. Re-enable Zen-Fire connection in Control Center
            2. Repeat steps 5-9 in my 14 step list mentioned in post link above
            3. Notice the error dialog popup and same Exception trace at bottom of your trace.*.txt file in trace directory

            JD

PS: I was also able to reproduce using above steps with "FDAX ##-##" so its not just NG related.

PSS: After this issue happens above, closing down Strategy Analyzer and pulling it up again while remaining connected to Zen-Fire results in "Backtest in process..." hangs when re-trying above steps without error prompts anymore. However no CPU activity is happening. Ditto for when Zen-Fire connection is disconnected. Thus, Strategy Analyzer effectively rendered useless at this point and you need to re-install NT. Luckily I'm now employing a virtual machine (Virtual Box running Windows 7) and using Snapshots to quickly restore back my virtual machine to last known good working state prior to otherwise bad irrevocable events.
Last edited by jdfagan; 06-23-2010, 08:35 PM. Reason: also reproduced with "FDAX ##-##" symbol, notes on this being a bad irrevocable event after this bug is hit
