    zorder NT shutdown bug

Does anyone have problem where using shift scrolling to change zorder causes a popup to say ninja detected an error and needing to shutdown?

I'm using an acer notebook and the trackpad to scroll.

Forgot to mention that it was on 7.0.0.6

Could you please provide exact steps in order to reproduce? Thanks

The steps are very simple, just bring up a chart, click on any object like candles, drawings, indicators etc for the black dragging boxes, then hold down shift and perform scrolling with trackpad, such as multi-touch two finger drag scrolling, or right vertical edge of trackpad scrolling. Since it is so simple to reproduce, i think it may be my notebook/trackpad setup.

      Acer Aspire AS1410
      Intel SU2300 CPU
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
      DirectX 11
      Synaptics Touchpad v7.2

Okay, I just attached a mouse and confirmed there was no problem with the mouse scrolling. I'm going to play with the touchpad settings to see if there is anything there.

      Update:
I played with touchpad settings, but still unable to avoid the bug. Note that scrolling regularly on chart to look at historical candles have no issue. Only when holding down shift, and using z-order scrolling with the touchpad that the issue shows up.
One difference I see with the mouse and touchpad is that when using the touchpad to scroll, the mouse arrow changes to a scrolling icon. That may be the issue since I notice when scrolling with the mouse, there is an extra graphic change of the mouse arrow to include the text "Level 1 of 2". So perhaps the graphic change of the touchpad does not blend with the graphic change of "Level 1 of 2" correctly.

        Here is what I tried:
        - new chart ES 03-10, 1min, no template all default
        - select the ES data series (black squares show up)
        - keep SHIFT pressed
        - on my notepad trackpad: move around with digit finger

        -> works no problem

        Are you doing anything different?

          Oh, can you try this:

Another way to reproduce, perhaps on your side too. When using the mouse, hold down shift to scroll, wait for "Level 1 of X" to show up, then move the mouse out of the chart screen to see the "Level 1 of X" dissapear, then scroll from outside of the chart area, and notice that ninja detects an error and needs to shutdown. This issue is probably somewhat related to the mouse arrow graphic change.

          Update:
Hmmm.... maybe this one is a separate bug, since just holding down shift and scrolling while the mouse pointer is outside of the chart window causes the nt needs to shutdown issue. For the original trackpad issue, i'm guessing it is because my trackpad while scrolling changes the mouse pointer graphic, while ninja's z-order also changes the mouse pointer graphic (adding text), do your mouse pointer changes graphic while scrolling in general?
