    Ladder Scaling Problem

I would like total control of how a chart is center and scaled.

Look at the attached two Ladder (GomiVolumeLadder) charts. Once it runs for a little while it wastes space. If it were possible to click on the center bar and then adjust the position and Vertical scaling - there would be less wasted screen space.

Ladder Scaling Problem Example after a few hours of running

Let the chart run a few hours and now have lost almost half of the screen space. Clicking on the little f in the upper right doesn't help - 2nd Chart. Even if I remove the side Ladders, I can't use all the screen space- 3rd Chart.

Regular bar charts seem to scale just fine, but still do not allow total control of position on screen. Would like to see horizontal control of position, not just vertical scaling.

As an aside: Very pleased with 7b9 after struggling with it. This is the longest 7b9 has run without any problems. Suspected conflicts (other postings on site) with Security and Network Backups didn't effect performance.

        ZTrade101,

You likely have something that is auto scaling it up there. Make sure your settings for the vertical scale is set to ScreenDateRange instead of EntireDateRangeSeriesOnly. You should also ensure you have no draw objects messing with the scale.

For the horizontal, you can just drag the chart axis left and right to zoom in/out.

          I plead ignorance

Screen Date range can be found where? I looked in Data Series and Properties. Could not find it in Help (F1).

I meant the up and down position of the horizontal not just moving it right and left.

            ztrade101,

Please ensure you are on 7.0.0.9. You can find it by right click -> Properties on the y-axis.

If you want to move up/down you need to hold CTRL and then drag the y-axis up/down.

              That works

              Thanks so much.

That was exactly the feature I wanted. Was not aware it was as easy as Ctrl click. Everything works now.

Moving image vertically in chart window

New feature of being able to do this with Ctrl+Click is a great feature, just wanted to thank you for it.
