Session Manager - Question

Hi,

I would like to set up a Session Template that has for Friday a start time of 17:00:00 and an end time of Monday 16:30:00.

Currently that produces an error "End day needs to be greater/equal Start Day" which is fair enough as a general prompt.

Could this be changed to an Alert which has a Yes/No override question?

I believe there is strict limitation in place so you could not create sessions over the weekend. This is by design. Sorry.

Pity - as this would be very useful for non US based users where their local instruments can follow US indice performance.

A session template can currently cater for this Mon - Thurs but not Friday where Friday night/Sat morning local leads into the Monday day session.

Is the decision one of policy or product restriction?

If policy - could it be revisited?

But can it at least go on the "List" - somewhere down the bottom to be sure - NT8 maybe....

Sure.

For the time being you could try to define "session segments" (without any gaps) which would connect midnight Saturday or Sunday (I'm not sure right now what the exact "rollover" day for the weekly session logic is).
