Question on setting up P n F in NT7 please

I am new to P n F and having a hard time setting up the charts. I want a 3 box reversal, 4 tick per box with each tick being 12.50 for ES for example.

What does it mean when it says base period?

What does it mean when it says base period type? It has to be tick no? Only tick are looked at not volume and such in classic P n F?

I can't figure out how to set this up. Please help. Thank you.

Ray or NT please, how do I set the scaling correct for P n F. The o and x's don't line up with one another.

Can you please elaborate? Maybe an image?

Ray I will post one when I find it again. It seems to be a scaling issue and I see there are scaling options that's why I asked.

What I noticed when I changed scaling on price axis was that there were some O's that when a cross hair was placed on them they cut the o in half.
