    Can't load CL 02-10 contract in NT7, same loads fin ein NT 6.5

    Hi ,
    I do not get any historical data(even few minutes ago) for any timeframe chart of CL 02-10(Nymex Crude Feb 2010 contract). The same instrument loads fine in NT 6.5.
    I am using the TT feed from Velocity Futures.

    Please go to Tools > Instrument Manager and open up the CL master symbol, set the merge policy to 'DoNotMerge' - does the chart load then?

    We're currenly working on an identified CL issue.

        Similar issue with 6A on Globex. It loads from IB correctly, but shows in chart only when merge policy set to 'DoNotMerge'.

          Tested here on my end and charts were displayed as expected for the Globex currency futures including the 6A - which IB TWS are you using? Is this the recommend 900.6 one?

            It's TWS ver.901.3. 6B, 6E, 6S, 6J are fine. I have problem only with 6A.

              vtaran, thanks - please retry on the recommended 900.6 TWS from our IB connection guide.

              Tested here on a IB live account for the 6A on several min charts 200 days back on instrument default & 24 / 7 sessions and do not see an issue.

              Please check also into the log tab - is there perhaps a data downloading pacing violation shown as you try the 6A?

                Using Zen-Fire data....7B8...cannot get a chart of CL 03-10 to load correctly yesterday & today...sometimes 1 bar will show updating....mostly just a blank chart. Tried a Repair DB & Reset DB...tried a new workspace....other things...NQ, TF, 6E, GC, YM work OK.

                CL shows OK in DOM and updates OK in time & sales....can chart OK today in 6.5.

                Any suggestions...??

                    Works well here for CL 03-10, try resetting instruments under Tools > Options > Data as it would reset rollovers as well, then restart NT, reconnect to Zen and recheck.

                      Yes... !! That fixed it...had not tried resetting instruments before...

                        I am using Barchart for historical data. I've set merge policy to DoNotMerge and number of bars to 2000. But NT7 would only show daily bars of CL 03-10 back to 8/31/2009. In NT6.5 I can see bars all way the back to 2/10/2006.

                          Softturbo,

                          When you use DoNotMerge, it means do not show any information not related to that current front month. You will want to use one of the Merge options to show more data.

                            I understand that. But what I want to show is the full historical data of the contract month I choose. In NT6.5, I can load the full set of historical data but I can't do it in NT7.
