    NT7 drawings not saved

I draw some lines and fib levels on mutipule currency pairs. I did save the workspace when I closed the Ninjatrader. And when I shut down computer and turn it on again, relogin to NT7, all my drawings disappear. Is it a bug or what should I do to save the drawings?

    ...Try this maybe...

When you log in try immediately connecting live again...your graphics are still there probably but Ninja only reloads the chart bars initially to the point in time of the last time that you connected live...you can get around this by disconnecting live data, then reconnecting live again just before shut down....then your charts will open next time to where you shut down, with all of your graphics showing just as you left everything.

I personally would prefer that Ninja always reopen to the same place on the charts that you shut down at, without having to connect live again to get current and show previous graphics etc...but do not know what would be involved to achieve that....

    .....

My data feed is esignal. I already set to connect to it automatically when login NT7. And also I save the workspace as my default workspace which will load automatically as well when login NT7.

Please make sure you are on NT7B6.

I just tried to reproduce but couldn't. Here is what I tried:
        - started eSignal app
        - only control center up
        - Tools->Account connections->eSignal connection->checked auto connect
        - connect eSignal
        - opened 1 min for $EURUSD, all default, no template
        - added a line, a fib retracement and a fib extension
        - shut down NT, save all workspaces

-> On next startup NT would auto connect and recover chart nicely.

Please make sure you go through exact procedure to see if you got it working as well. Next let me know what you did differently. Thanks

My workspace is like this: I have a market analyzer with 26 currency pairs. I use it to switch between pairs. each pair I get 6 charts running over 3 monitor with different timeframes. I draw some support/resistance lines as well as the fib levels on daily weekly and 4 hour charts over different pairs. When I exit the NT and save the workspace and relogin again, it only remember the lines drawn on active pair on the screen.

Sorry, I don't follow. Please be explicit.

Could you please provide a step by step scenario in order to reproduce your findings? Thanks

OK. for example, I have AUDUSD EURUSD GBPUSD NZDUSD on my market analyzer and link it to the charts. First, I draw some lines on AUDUSD. And then use the market analyzer to switch to EURUSD and draw some lines. And then switch to GBPUSD to draw some lines. Lastly, I switch to NZDUSD to draw some lines. And then I close NT, when promoted for save, I choose 'yes to all'. And then relogin NT, it will open up the NZDUSD charts with all the lines still there. But when I switch to other pairs. The lines previously drawn disappear.

Just find out another bug. I use the constant lines to draw lines on the charts. For example. I draw two lines on NZDUSD of 0.7400 and 0.7000 on daily chart. And then draw another two lines on NZDCAD of 0.7600 and 0.7200 on daily chart too.

And when I switch back to the NZDUSD chart, the two lines of 0.7400 and 0.7000 disappear. Instead the chart will show the two lines draw on the NZDCAD chart of 0.7600 and 0.7200.

I think this is the same problem as I mentioned earlier in the thread. NT7 cannot remember the lines drawn on the previous charts.

                    Not sure about your scenario:
                    - daily chart on NZDUSD
                    - you added 2 lines at 0.7400 and 0.7000
                    - you switched to NZDCAD
                    - you added 2 lines 0.7600 and 0.7200
                    - you switched back to NZDUSD

-> lines at lines at 0.7400 and 0.7000 no longer are there?!?

Please confirm or make corrections as needed. Thanks

Yes. The two lines 0.7400 and 0.7000 no longer there. But it shows the same lines 0.7600 and 0.7200 as NZDCAD shows.

Thanks for clarification. This, in fact might be related to the issue below which we addressed by a bug fix (available with next update).
