Various Questions about migration from 6.5 to 7

#1 If I import all of my indicators from 6.5 to 7, will I be able to tell which ones have issues by compiling one of them?

#2 When you say that templates can be imported but not charts, I'm not sure what that means. If I can import a chart template, then I can open a new chart and apply the template. Am I missing something? Is there another kind of template besides a chart template?

3. When you say workspaces can be imported but not charts, I'm not sure what that means. What else is there to a workspace besides specific charts in specific locations with specific indicators already on the charts.

Please clarify.

Obviously, I would rather not have to rebuild every chart template, every chart then my 2 workspaces. I'm guessing that would be an all day affair. Anything you can do to help with this migration is greatly appreciated.

1. Yes, the editor will show you all of the errors. In case you have not seen this before, please see this DOC - http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ad.php?t=21016

2. Chart templates will not convert over. Unfortunately you will have to create them from scratch in NT7.

3. There can be many other windows in a workspace, DOMS, Market Analyzers, Strategy Analyzers etc...

Thanks for the clarification.I think I'll stick with 6.5 for awhile. I'm dreading having to rebuild all of the charts.

3 follow up questions...
1. Just curious...do you have an idea when NT7 will go from beta to normal rollout?

2. Is there a list somewhere of the potential benefits of using 7.0 instead of 6.5?

3. I've heard that NT7 will somehow cause the market replay to start over at midnight when I keep live data going from 7pm to 7am. Is that correct? If so, that will be nice.

1) No, based on past experience I would say a couple of months
2) All features added and bug fixed are per Help guide->Release note.
